Our Single-Vineyard Designated Wines

2021 Beckstoffer To Kalon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville  (750ml | 1.5L | 3L | 6L)

2021 Not Yet Rated | 2019 Robert Parker Wine Advocate, 97 points “This wine’s deep, rich ruby color augurs for great things to come. Characteristic of the 2021 vintage with low yields from drought conditions, the wine offers intense black cherry, dark plum and dense boysenberry fruit. Yet typical of the To Kalon Vineyard is the signature hint of tobacco and earth that is beautifully complemented by toasty oak nuances. This amazing wine is impeccably balanced with rich, intense tannins that are polished and round so you can enjoy this beauty now or easily cellar for another 20 years. Spectacular!

2021 Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon, Rutherford (750ml only)

2021 Not Yet Rated | 2019 Jeb Dunnuck, 97 points “Initially somewhat closed, the wine gradually opens to reveal incredibly complex aromas of dark cherry, black currant, ripe raspberry, and traces of vanillin oak. The palate is remarkably rich, dense and structured with superb fine-grained tannins, and concludes with a long, elegant finish that immediately begs for another glass. Lovely now, you’ll be happily rewarded watching this wine evolve over the next 20 to 25 years. Marvelous!”

2019 Wall Road Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mount Veeder (375ml | 750ml | 1.5L | 3L | 6L)

Jeb Dunnuck, 94 “The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Wall Road Vineyard comes from Mount Veeder and is a co-fermented blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. As with all these releases, it was brought up in new barrels. More medium to full-bodied on the palate, with classic mountain tannins and vibrancy, it has impressive notes of red and black fruits, unsmoked tobacco, Herbes de Provence, and hints of leather. Long, balanced, and elegant, it will have two decades of longevity.”

2019 Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville (375ml | 750ml

Jeb Dunnuck, 95 “The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard is cut from the same cloth as the Georges III with its darker, herbal, classic style. Tobacco leaf, currants, and earthy notes define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied and has a tighter, more compact mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. I love its sense of elegance and purity, and it’s a gem to drink over the coming 15+. There are 328 cases produced.

2021 Ritchie Vineyard, Chardonnay, Russian River Valley (750ml only)

Robert Parker Wine Advocate, 96  “Even more exciting than past (excellent) vintages, the 2021 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard is a polished golden hue in the glass, with just a bit of cloudiness. Don’t let that turn you off, as the wine is fabulously full-bodied, rich and texturally honeyed, with a long-lasting finish that highlights the wine’s flavors of ripe pineapple, guava, pear and citrus. Really impressive stuff, this was barrel-fermented with indigenous yeasts and bacteria and aged in 60% new French oak. Winemaker Jeff Ames only stirs the barrels when sulfuring them, “to avoid sacrificing longevity.”
