When I drink a truly remarkable wine the first thing that comes to mind is the site from which the fruit is sourced. There are so many variables that come into play to produce iconic fruit from a single vineyard site. And, there is a tremendous amount of farming TLC that goes into every growing season. We know because we do it at our estate vineyard. The Wall Road Vineyard is a three-acre gem located at the northern most tip of the Mount Veeder AVA. The vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon with just a touch of Cabernet Franc mixed in. This field blend, the elevation, orientation and rugged volcanic soils make for a one-of-a-kind vineyard that produces truly remarkable wine. So, as we embark on 2019, we would like to make a special tribute to our little gem tucked away high in the Mayacama Mountains. We love our Wall Road Vineyard!
